Time evolution of Majorana corner modes in a Floquet second-order topological superconductor

We propose a practically feasible time-periodic sinusoidal drive protocol in onsite mass term to generate the two-dimensional~(2D) Floquet second-order topological superconductor, hosting both regular $0$- and anomalous $\pi$-Majorana corner modes~(MCMs) while starting from static 2D insulator/$d$-wave superconductor heterostructure setup. theoretically study local density spectra time dynamics of MCMs presence such drive. The dynamical are topologically characterized by employing average quadrupolar motion. Furthermore, we employ perturbation theory~(FPT) strong driving amplitude limit provide analytical insight into problem. compare our exact (numerical), FPT results terms eigenvalue MCMs. emphasize that agreement between numerical more prominent higher frequency regime for close $0$-quasi-energy mode.
